I will be updating this page soon with photos of the 2011 gardens. We grow a large variety of produce including melons, plus cut flowers and herbs.
We grow everything organically-no chemical fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides are used on the farm. We use compost , fish emulsion, compost tea and raw milk and graze the animals on the crop residues in the fall and winter to enrich the soil.
We also feed hay over the garden areas in the winter which quadruples our earthworm populations come spring! Worms and plants and soil microbes LOVE rotted hay and straw!
